"Inner Journey" is a profound sonic autobiography, a soundtrack to ten years of exile, immersion, and transformation. With a blend of jazz and world music, Serkan crafts an atmospheric soundscape that mirrors the complex emotional landscape of his personal journey, from his childhood in Syria, through the civil war, to living later on in Turkey, and ultimately, to a year of profound rediscovery in Spain where he composed this music and recorded it with a bunch of talented musicians from different countries around the globe.
